Michael Oberman, a wildlife photographer, is now described as "one of the most prolific photographers in the state of Maryland with more than 30 years of experience in wildlife photography and conservation."

At the age of 24, Oberman said he had already interviewed Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley and the Grateful Dead, to name a few. Ron was with him when the picture was taken on January 27, 1971, and he told WUSA9 that they then became brothers. After joining Mercury, Ron worked on creating musician profiles before Michael took over the position when Ron entered the music business.

Ron Oberman introduced Bowie to figures in the US music industry and introduced him to new music, including a quirky psychobilly artist called "Legendary Stardust Cowboy," a nickname that some of him would get as his Ziggy Stardust persona. In 1971, Bowie, then 24, was taken with a band to a party house in Takoma Park and smoked marijuana in a weed - a smoking device that Bowie had never seen before, according to Obermen. It was the first time in his life he had smoked marijuana, which he also did when he was 24 in 1971.

In typical fashion, the dance party filled the hall with 1,000 people and gave them the show of their lives. The cabin had a curtain, so we put it down, closed the curtain and the cabins had no curtains.

The music had a hip vibe as the band reconfigured the line-up and changed its name to Brett to stand out from the old vibe of the dance party. The bassist for the rock band Weezer played at the dance party with his brother Chris and brother-in-law Mike.

He played lead guitar in an aspiring rock group and networked with them while pursuing a law degree during the day. He was invited to play in an established band and was supposed to attend law school as a backup plan. Kevin enrolled in the LSAT and went to the College of Charleston for one semester, but he had no interest in law and no plans for his future in Maryland.

The Dance Party to get their record deal as soon as possible, but when the band's lead singer signed him, he left the group and the new one was interested in them. The dance party with Kevin as lead guitarist and Kevin on drums went down and they survived.
